Denuvo DRM Removed From 007 First Light
After voices38 cracked it in 14 days, IO Interactive has decided to remove Denuvo in its latest update.

Roughly two weeks post-launch, 007: First Light finally succumbed to voices38, the notorious pirate known for consistently taking down Denuvo. Still, holding out for a fortnight is a far cry from the disastrous Day 1 crack we saw with Lego Batman.
IO Interactive posted positively on 007 First Light’s success:
007: First Light has already sold 3 million copies in less than two weeks. IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak shared this milestone in an interview with IGN last week. Hakan also confirmed that 007: First Light is the studio’s fastest-selling game to date. This means it has officially outpaced IO Interactive’s Hitman games, which is an incredible achievement.
This post from the official handle on X confirms its massive success. Denuvo DRM successfully protected this initial sales cycle.
With this incredible success and the fact that it has been cracked already, there may not be enough incentive for IO to continue to retain Denuvo. This may have been the reason for its removal.
